İmmatür teratom genç yaşlarda görülen malign over neoplazmıdır. Klinik olarak asemptomatik pelvik kitle olabilir. Bizim olgumuzun başvuru şikayeti olan anormal vaginal kanama immatür teratoma özgü bir semptom değildir. Grade 1 stage 1 tümörlerde ek tedavi gereksinimi olmadan prognoz mükemmeldir.
ABSTRACT
Mature teratomas are relatively common tumors in reproductive age women, but can occur at any age. The incidence of malign elements in teratoma is low. Their typical presentation is an asymptomatic unilateral abdominal mass. We are presenting a case of 18 years old, virgin, with a large pelvic mass and abnormal vaginal bleeding due to immature teratoma determined by intraoperative frozen section, thus we performed fertility sparing surgical staging. The final pathology report revealed stage 1a, grade 1 immature teratoma so that we observed the case without adjuvant chemotherapy. Immature teratoma is a malignant ovarian neoplasm in reproductive age. The presentation may be an asymptomatic pelvic mass. The presentation of our case with an abnormal vaginal bleeding is not a typical symptom for immature teratoma. The prognosis of grade 1 stage 1 tumors are excellent without adjuvant therapy.
