ÖZET
Küçük prematürelerin doğum travmasından korunması amacıyla sezaryen doğum yapma oranı oldukça artmıştır. Ancak bu yaklaşımın yararı kesin gösterilememiştir. Bu çalışmada 2000 gr'ın altındaki çocuklarda doğum şekli ile erken neonatal prognoz ilişkisi incelenmiştir.
Küçük prematürelerin doğum travmasından korunması amacıyla sezaryen doğum yapma oranı oldukça artmıştır. Ancak bu yaklaşımın yararı kesin gösterilememiştir. Bu çalışmada 2000 gr'ın altındaki çocuklarda doğum şekli ile erken neonatal prognoz ilişkisi incelenmiştir.

Cesarean section delivery for extreme prematures has increased markedly in attempts to reduce the traume of delivery. But the benefit of this trend is not easily demonstrable.
