Dear All

?Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.?

~Albert Einstein

Within the last couple of days in 2019, we are pleased to publish JCOG?s last issue of this year. There is important news that I would like to share with you. With enormous effort especially on the journal vision and journal targets changes that we have made in the last 2 years, we are very pleased to announce that we have applied for becoming a part of PubMed this month. We have made great efforts to meet all criteria and requirements in order to achieve that. Hopefully JCOG will be accepted for PubMed from the beginning of 2020. At this point, I would like to remind you once again that the support of all of you is very crucial. I would like to address once again that the citations to our journal would be very important for reaching better positions and indexes such as SCI.

In every issue, we are selecting scientific studies covering from all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. I would like to highlight some of the articles in this issue. The study using Caveolin-1 for differentiation of Endometrial Carcinoma, Endometrial Intraepithelial Neoplasia, Endometrial Hyperplasia, and Normal Endometrium is promising. You will read that the results of another clinical study from Turkey on increasing implantation rates in IVF cycles are consistent with the international literature. You will find the results of another study that focused on pregnancy with fibroids and cervical length status. The results of this study reveals that cervical length is inversely affected by fibroids during pregnancy while the risk of preterm birth is higher in pregnancy with fibroids. In another study, it will be emphasized to investigate the effects of maternal body mass index (BMI) and total weight gain during the pregnancy (WGDP) on all stages of labor.

May the New Year bring you happiness, peace, and prosperity. Wishing you a joyous 2020!
