Dear Colleagues,
"Turkiye Klinikleri Journal of Obstetrics Gynecolog" has been publishing since 1991 and provided many scientific contributions to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology in a national base until today. After the last issue of the year 2017, many innovations were made in our journal and the name and language of the journal were changed. The new name of our journal has been changed to "Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology" and as a nickname "Turquaz Journal". The language of our journal has been changed to English. With the year 2018, its mission and objectives have evolved into becoming a journal that offers success and scientific contributions not only in the national but also in the international area. Within this context, Editorial Board members have changed. Hereby, I would like to express our gratitude to all valued members who contributed to our journal previously. As the first target, we have completed our work to be included in TUBITAK/ULAKBIM TR DIZIN and have been accepted with the issues published since 2016. We immediately declared that we would hereafter mostly accept original articles and systematic reviews in JCOG. Our next priority is to enter SCI-E and be included in PUBMED. In this context, we made professional service agreements for English corrections and statistical analyzes. We changed our journal?s website and all its interfaces. We have put into service a new electronic interface that makes it easy to cite the articles published in our journal previously and submit new articles to our journal. We decided to give support for English correction, scholarly article writing and statistical analysis to young academics who will be interested in our journal in the future. In addition, we have decided to conduct simple and advanced statistical analysis courses, practical SPSS computer program statistical courses and writing a scientific manuscript courses within the scope of JCOG at regular intervals every year.
"Measure what is measurable make measurable what is not so..."
I believe that in the light of this epigram of Galileo Galilei, the most important touchstone of the positive sciences, which summarizes what science and scientific work is and by working hard we will bring our journal to a successful position internationally with the contributions of all of you.
While starting 2018 with new name, new vision and new goals as JCOG, I would like to wish a successful working period to all valued members in the Editorial Board.
