ÖZET
Amaç: Ektopik gebelik olgularında, methotrexate tek doz kullanımının, dolayısıyla da nonoperatif bir yöntemin etkinliğini daha önceki yapılan çalışmalarla karşılaştırarak araştırmaktır.Çalışmanın Yapıldığı Yer: SSK Ege Doğumevi ve Kadın Hastalıkları Eğitim Hastanesi, İzmir.Materyal ve Metod: 1 Mart 1999-1 Kasım 2002 tarihleri arasında Hastanemiz Jinekoloji Departmanına başvuran ve çalışma kriterlerine uyan 68 hasta, Stovall ve ark.nın tek doz methotrexate protokülüne göre sağaltılmıştır. Sonuçlar retrospektif olarak analiz edilmiştir.Bulgular: Tek doz methotrexate protokolüne göre sağaltılan 68 hastadan, 59unda (%86.7) başarılı olunmuştur. Hastalardan 3ünde ilk doz methotrexate tedavisi sonrası kendi istekleri ile elektif cerrahi uygulanmıştır. Ectopik çap >3,5cm üzerinde olan 5 hasta başarı ile tedavi edilirken sadece 5 hastaya 2. doz, 1 hastaya ise 3. doz methotrexate gerekmiştir.Sonuç: Tek doz methotrexate protokolü, rüptüre olmamış ektopik gebeliklerde, sıkı bir monitorizasyon eşliğinde başvurulabilecek güvenli bir yöntemdir.

ABSTRACT
Objective: Our aim is to compare the effectiveness of single dose methotrexate administration - a nonoperative method-with other investigations.The Settlement: The Egean Maternity Teaching Hospital of security social administration (SSK), İzmir.Material and Method: 68 patients who were eligible for the criteria of our study were treated according to Stovall et als single dose methotrexate protocol in between March 1,1999 and November 1,2000 years. The results were analyzed retrospectively.Findings: The protocol was succesful in 59 patients(86.7%). Three patients decided to be operated after the first methotrexate injection. Five patients who had ectopic sac diameter greater than 3.5 cm were treated succesfully. Second and third dose injection were required in 5 patients and in one patient, respectively.Conclusion: The single dose methotrexate protocol is a reliable treatment method in unruptured ectopic pregnancies but close monitorization is important
