ÖZET
Endometrium kanseri, gelişmiş ülkelerde en sık görülen kadın genital sistem kanseridir. Olguların büyük çoğunluğu erken evrede bulunmakta ve tümörün yaygınlığı abdominal yol ile yapılan cerrahi evreleme ile değerlendirilmektedir. Vajinal histerektomi ve bilateral salpingooferektomi endometrium kanserli olguya standart bir yaklaşım olmamakla birlikte özellikle morbid obez, medikal sorunları olan, çok yüksek operasyon riski gösteren, ileri derecede morbidite riski taşıyan endometrium kanserli olgularda tercih edilebilir. Bu olgu sunumunda, 63 yaşında ve endometrium kanseri ile dermoid kisti olan, morbid obez bir hastaya vajinal histerektomi ve bilateral salpingooferektomi uygulaması rapor edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT
Endometrium cancer is the most common gynecologic cancer in the developed countries. Most of the cases are diagnosed in the early stages and the surgical staging is performed by abdominal approach. Vaginal hysterectomy and bilateral salphingooferectomy are not standard treatment protocols for the patients with endometrium cancer, however, it might be chosen for the patients complicated with morbid obesity, medical problems and high risk for the operation. In this case report, we presented vaginal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingooferectomy operation for the treatment of a morbid obese patient with endometrial cancer and dermoid cyst who is 63 years old and is discussed in light of the pertinent literature.
